Tyvek + Lumiere paint + heat = a lot of fun.
I've been hearing about the wonders of Tyvek for years and finally got hold of some - and had some time to play around with it. I free machine stitched these pieces before painting and heat-shrinking them to see if the stitching would have any effect - it didn't.
This one is painted with Lumiere Halo Blue Gold.
This one is Halo Pink Gold.
And this one is Halo Violet Gold.
I will probably just put the pieces away for now until I decide what to do with them but I can see possibilities for hand and machine embroidery.

Nice pieces Monica. Try stitching in a grid for a greater effect. Also, although you don't show the 'before' pictures, I suspect that the machining has had an effect looking at the way that they have reacted.
I wish I had known that you wanted some tyvek Monica as I have plenty.
I agree with Maggi re the machine stitching.
Can I suggest that you apply some more heat to one of the squares and allow some holes to form and the tyvek will pull away leaving the stitching.
If you need a hand give me a call.
